Good morning everyone! We've just had our breakfast and are waiting for someone to come unhook mom so she can shower before her chemo starts. She'll be getting a couple pre-meds to prevent allergic reactions to the new chemotherapy drug she's getting for the first time today. Pre-meds are supposed to start by 9:30 and chemo at 10. I don't think it takes very long in the IV, so hopefully she'll be feeling fine by early afternoon! We do expect some nausea, and she's prepared for that, but there are a lot of different things she can get to alleviate the nausea. ok, nurse here now.. update later!!
