Day 8

Well, Rita has started the activities for today. She is in Radiology getting the chemo injection into her Central Nervous System (CNS). I am unable to be with her for this procedure as it is done in Radiology instead of in her room like last time. After this, she will rest awhile and then get the rest of today's chemo around 5:00 PM. So, it will be a pretty full day. Rita continues to do great and faces each challenge head on and clears each hurdle with flying colors.

Thanks for all of your support - she really looks forward to reading the comments, emails, cards and even this new skype thing. I have yet to be trained on that one so, for now its hands off for me. I'll post an update later when she has completed everything for today to let you know how she is doing.

    Hi mom (and dad)! Today sounds like it's going to be a bit of a challenge. As usual, I'm thinking about you constantly and sending all my love. I hope everything goes smoothly and I'm glad dad is there to be your wingman - you couldn't ask for a more supportive or loving co-pilot.

    I can't wait to skype with you tonight!! I'm so anxious to see you. I miss you and love you both.

    Hi guys... I wish I was there with you.. but I'm glad Dad is there to be by your side. We will skype you tonight at girls night... we told you you'd be there every week with us!!! I can't wait to see you on sunday so I can assume position on my little bed/chair and watch the food network.. all day!!
